Made from 100% Grenache (partially destemmed) brought up in demi-muids, the 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Catarina has slightly more pepper and herb notes as well as plenty of graphite, black cherries, and black raspberries. It’s concentrated, deep, layered, and incredibly pure on the palate. It’s going to keep for 10-15 years.
